Established in 1971, La Alianza Hispana, Inc. is a 501©(3) community-based nonprofit organization serving the needs of the Hispanic Community throughout the state of Massachusetts. To achieve its goals, the organization has focused on its core responsibilities that is, to empower individuals and families, strengthen communities, and develop leaders through high quality educational and employment programs, social services, public health programs, advocacy and community organizing.


La Alianza Hispana, Inc. is recognized as a leader in providing a spectrum of community-based services to improve the human capabilities of underprivileged people for a better quality of life.

On November 17th, during the “2015 We Are Boston Anniversary Gala” Mayor Martin Walsh presented the “Youth Action Award” to Frangely Ramirez, a graduate of the LAH Cuidate! Project, a member of CYAC Youth Advisory Board and a volunteer of LAH, for her courage and idealism, for her cultural pride, for promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, for her contributions to the community and for being an inspiration to her peers.
